Who We Are
V3 CrossFit is a fun and fast-paced environment to grow as an athlete. Whether a seasoned CrossFit professional or a beginner, V3 has something for everyone. V3 CrossFit’s motto stands as a testament to the power of our members and our gym: “We came, We saw, We conquered!”
V3 CrossFit was founded in 2013 and has undergone many changes over the years. The spacious gym houses 8,000+ square feet of usable exercise space including more than 5,000 square feet of matted gym flooring, 2 modular pull-up rigs, five 15+ foot climbing ropes, and an enclosed 4,000 square foot courtyard for additional exercise. The gym owns dozens of barbells, thousands of pounds of rubber coated bumper weight, gymnastics rings, gym mats, speed ropes, and much more. The gym is accessed by an expansive parking lot where there is plenty of room for all.
In addition to providing a safe and fun exercise environment, our certified training staff can provide advice on nutrition, healthy living habits, and customized goal setting plans.
What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is many things. Primarily, it is a core strength and conditioning regimen developed over several decades and defines fitness in a meaningful, measurable way (increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains). CrossFit itself is defined as that which optimizes fitness (constantly varied functional movements performed at relatively high intensity). CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains. They are Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. CrossFit is also the community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together. In fact, the communal aspect of CrossFit is a key component of why it’s so effective.
